Humble Pie

Pippa Hart has a big laugh, no filter, and thousands of people watching her bake sour cherry pie live at Philadelphia's biggest food festival. So when a smug man in a beige sweater takes one bite and smirks, she roasts the city's most feared restaurant critic right to his face. One problem: he isn't the critic. He's Sam Okoye, the quiet, careful new co-owner of the struggling bistro where she starts her dream job on Monday, and he's seen the clip. Now Pippa has one summer to save the restaurant, her reputation, and maybe her heart, if she can stop making things worse every time she tries to apologize.
