Refund & cancellation policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains how ScribeLoomsubscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when we give refunds.

Automatic renewal

Paid plans renew automatically every month at the plan’s price plus applicable taxes, charged to the payment method you gave Stripe, until you cancel. The price and renewal terms are shown on the pricing page and in Stripe Checkout before you pay, and Stripe emails a receipt for each payment. If we change a price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, online, in a few clicks:

1. Go to Settings → Billing.
2. Choose Manage billing (it opens Stripe’s secure billing page).
3. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

Cancelling stops future payments. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. You can also email support@scribeloom.com from your account email and we’ll cancel for you.

Refunds

Payments are for a monthly period and are non-refundable: we don’t give refunds or credits for partial months, unused books, or periods when you didn’t use the service, except as described here or where the law requires it.

• Mistakes: if you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged by mistake, email support@scribeloom.com and we’ll refund the incorrect charge.
• Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately, without a refund for the current period.
• Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually fix problems faster. While a payment dispute is open, we may pause the account.

Books you haven’t used

Each paid month adds books to your balance, up to a limit. If your subscription ends, your unused books stop accumulating and are kept frozen: you can’t use them while you’re not subscribed, and they become available again if you subscribe again. If a book fails to generate, the book you spent on it is returned to your balance. Unused books have no cash value and aren’t refunded.

Your books after cancelling

Books you created stay yours and stay readable by you. Private books stay private; we never make a book public on your behalf. You can download any of your books from its page.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. ScribeLoom never sees or stores your full card details. Receipts and invoices are available in Manage billing.
